The Teardown parts specialist executes tearing down of Chromebooks, performs quality assurance on individual parts to be moved into inventory and contributes to a healthy inventory strategy and positive work environment. This full time position is M-F, 8am-4:30pm.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Tear down assigned Chromebooks in a timely manner with regard to a high level quality
  • Perform Quality Control for all sales parts
  • Test parts to ensure they are in working order
  •  Accurately grade, bag and tag all sales parts in account of company standards, ensuring consistency across Vivacity’s inventory
  • Assist parts team in organization projects and transfers of parts inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned such as helping in Production (as needed) and other departments

What Excellent Skills and Abilities Will You Possess?

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
  • Ability to work independently

Education and Experience Levels Are We Looking For:

  • Prior experience with inventory and warehouse process highly preferred

Physical Requirements  

  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Ability to lift boxes sometimes up to 40lbs
  • Ability to use a pallet jack
