Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Texas and IRS Enrolled Agent certification.
- At least 5 years of Accounting experience with U.S. Tax Codes. Legally minimize Tax liabilities with authorized credits and deductions.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and internal controls to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulatory laws including tax reporting.
- Responsible for Financial Planning, Risks Assessment, Record-keeping, Month-End Closings, Reporting, Payroll, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Fixed Assets, Inventory Controls.
- High integrity, loyalty, and dependability. Attention to Details. Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency. Ensures Compliance and avoid penalties.
- Consolidate US and Mexican accounting platforms and reconciliations for multiple holding Companies. Performs internal Audits and resolves any inconsistencies.
- Maintains accurate Financial Records. Experience with SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Great Plains accounting software
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
