Each work-study position has a wage range of $16.50 - $18.50/hour with each hired individual's wage calculated using Mountain Home's transparent and equitable wage matrix.
CURRENT WORK-STUDY POSITIONS WE ARE RECRUITING FOR:
Residential Support Specialist- Assist residential staff in helping ensure Mountain Home’s residential program is a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young mothers and their children. The RSS provides safety and support for all residents while assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the house and adherence to program rules. Duties include:
- Providing direct care to residents and children in the residential program
- Helping ensure the House is clean, organized, and welcoming for all
- Building rapport with residents while maintaining professional boundaries at all times
- Supporting residents with transportation, homework, applications, etc.
- Helping residents complete chores, meal preparation, and other responsibilities
- Receiving, inspecting, sorting, washing, and putting away donations
- Maintaining reliability and dependability through a commitment to schedule and tasks
- Performing other appropriate duties as assigned
Clean & Tidy Specialist- Help enhance the physical, mental, and emotional environment at Mountain Home for clients, staff, and all stakeholders alike. The CTS will ensure that Mountain Home is consistently clean and tidy physically so that all Mountain Home stakeholders can reap the positive benefits of a clean and tidy environment. These benefits include: minimizing the spreading of germs, allergens, and illnesses, improving health and safety, reducing stress and anxiety, improving focus and productivity, boosting creativity, regulating emotions, and promoting serotonin production Duties include:
- cleaning bathrooms
- tidying coffee and tea station
- cleaning a kitchen
- tidying employee printing station
- cleaning floors
- tidying office supplies
- collecting and taking out trash
- tidying employee snacks
- stocking toiletries
- tidying pantry of free goods
- Performing other appropriate duties as assigned
