Essential Responsibilities:
- Business Development: set up appointments with prospective clients to learn their needs/concerns working with outside sales team to develop relationships and create awareness of company offerings.
- Maintain and develop relationships with composite cable dealers and wholesalers, including
- Create a plan of regular touch points in line with customer buying habits/needs.
- Understand the marketplace to adjust pricing at both the dealer and wholesale level to support growth and consistency in customer base.
- Prospect new customers and develop a compelling strategy to win new business.
- Follow-up with customers on quotations to help obtain orders, discuss objections that may prevent the placement of orders, and offer alternate options if need.
- Proactively follows up with prospective new customers to generate sales.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as defined by Management each year.
- Create and present quotations to customers emphasizing value-add features and explaining the benefits of working with CableMaster.
- Manage and perform data entry into ERP system for orders in line with company policies.
- Work cross functionally with purchasing and accounting teams relaying voice of customer as it relates to needs in the marketplace to support inventory purchases and management.
- Assist with assigning customers to inside sales team working to support customer needs as appropriate with an understanding that customer needs vary by customer.
- Possesses thorough knowledge of all products, processes, and policies to support and exceed customer requirements.
- Other Duties as assigned.
