Our Houston team is searching for a patient, detail oriented, and enthusiastic Center Training Manager to join our center level management team. The Center Training Manager will work onsite in our Houston donation center and will collaborate directly with the Center Director and Quality Assurance Manager to deliver world class training to center employees. They will also assist the corporate training team in developing and maintaining employee training based on the center’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other operating guidelines. This position plays a huge role in making new team members feel welcome and set up for success starting on the new team member’s first day.

Requirements:

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Consistently demonstrate the company’s Core Values while working with Proesis Biologics employees, plasma donors, and external visitors to the Donor Center
  • Monitor the center employees training progress using the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Manage and maintain the Donor Center’s Training Profile, including employee certification, licensure, and ongoing development
  • Maintain all documentation relevant to training and employee development within the Donor Center
  • Notify Center Management and Center Staff of ongoing training requirements and ensure timely completion of training assignments
  • Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing Trainers assigned to delivering training for new/existing employees
  • Communicate and collaborate with the corporate training team to ensure a smooth and successful training process

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred; in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years of experience leading training in a cGMP production environment
  • Available to work flexible and/or extended shifts as needed by Center Management
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours
  • Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with computer-based applications and software.
  • This position may require up to 25% travel

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
  • The employee may be required to enter an environment with temperatures lower than -25&degree;C for short periods of time.
  • Ability to push, tug, lift, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Be able to bend, stoop or kneel.
  • Specific vision and hearing abilities are required to be successful within the role
