Job Overview: As our Assistant Bids Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our bidding process, helping us secure and deliver exceptional restoration projects. Working alongside our experienced Bids Analyst and sales and operations teams, you'll dive into project details, analyze bid specifications, and craft competitive proposals that set us apart from the competition. This role isn't just about crunching numbers – it's about making a meaningful impact on our company's success and our clients' satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dive into bid specifications and project details, uncovering opportunities and challenges to inform our bidding strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with our Bids Analyst to develop accurate and competitive cost estimates that align with client needs and company goals.
  • Tap into your analytical skills to gather pricing data, track market trends, and uncover competitive intelligence that gives us a winning edge.
  • Bring our bids to life with compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • Keep our bid process running smoothly, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Champion collaboration across departments, working hand-in-hand with sales, operations, and other teams to gather information and align on bid strategy.
  • Be the go-to expert on bid-related matters, fielding inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders with professionalism and expertise.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices, keeping our team informed and our bidding strategy sharp.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bidding, estimating, or related field, preferably in the construction or restoration industry.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and experience with bidding software or databases is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented and conscientious, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
