Position: Maintenance Assistant – Part-time

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Experience with maintenance team
- An understanding of planned and preventative maintenance schedules
- Practical work knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, health & safety and fire regulations and legislation
- Must be familiar with HIPAA
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instruction from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
- Clean window screens as directed.
- Replace burned out light bulbs, to include, exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc., and perform cleaning duties wherever necessary.
- Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped
- Service heating and cooling units/systems, as specified by the manufacturer, and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
- Turn in all found articles to your supervisors.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position; lift, push, pull, carry heavy objects. Stand for long periods of time, walk, bend and stretch. Mett the physical requirements outlined in the Job Description.
