As a Cage Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of animal holding facilities, as well as maintaining and repairing cagewash materials.

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment for animals
  • Perform routine maintenance on cagewash and autoclaves to ensure optimal functionality
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of animal holding facilities to prevent the spread of disease
  • Assist with inventory management and animal care to ensure the well-being of animals in our care

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitization and sterilization equipment and procedures
  • Previous experience in cagewash maintenance or a related field is highly desirable
  • Ability to obtain certification as an Assistant Lab Animal Technician within 1 year of employment
