Position Overview:

The Data Analyst (Business Analyst/Reporting Analyst) is accountable for analyzing and documenting business processes, creating reports using Power BI, and providing support for IFS, the ERP and CRM platforms. The person in this role will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and identify key data and reporting needs to effectively support the various business functions.


Reporting Relationship: The Data Analyst (Business Analyst/Reporting Analyst) reports to the Chief Financial Officer


Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their respective business operations and data needs to effectively manage their business segment
  • Elicit, document, and manage business systems adds, changes and enhancements
  • Set up custom views, reports and templates in IFS for end users when needed
  • Create custom reports with Power BI for end users when needed
  • Responsible for maintaining clean data within the ERP and CRM platforms. This includes working with users to eliminate duplication of accounts within the system
  • Responsible for setting and managing user permissions within the systems
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Develop user guides and training materials to facilitate end-user understanding
  • Coordinate with IT to conduct testing of new application features, patches, and updates
  • Assist IT to troubleshoot and resolve IFS related application problems, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure that IFS related applications meet performance, security, and usability standards
  • Collaborate with outside Vendors to address and resolve issues as needed
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage business process needs requests to ensure efficiencies
  • Develop and conduct training programs to enhance end-user proficiency in using applications
  • Provide ongoing support and training for new features and updates
  • Assist IT to investigate and diagnose application issues
  • Responds to end users help requests and funnel them to outside vendors where needed
  • Implement solutions to address root causes and prevent recurring problems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field
  • Proficient in analyzing data and creating reports; experience with Crystal Reports and Power BI necessary
  • Direct experience in supporting ERP & CRM platforms. Experience with IFS Cloud is a plus
  • Proven experience in supporting and maintaining software applications
