As the Social Service and Community Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies that directly address the diverse needs of our community. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will be crucial in engaging with a wide range of individuals, advocating for the needs of our scholars and families, and ensuring access to essential services and support. This position requires a deep commitment to social welfare and a strong dedication to improving the well-being of our scholars and their families.

- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

THE ROLE:
- Coordinate community outreach programs tailored to meet the specific needs of scholars and their families.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote social services and enhance the overall well-being of scholars and families.
- Advocate for students and families, ensuring access to essential services such as health services, counseling, and academic support programs.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with local stakeholders, including community organizations, businesses, and service providers, to ensure comprehensive support for students and their families.
- Coordinate various school-based events, workshops, and activities aimed at fostering a sense of community and providing resources for families.
- Salary: $73,000
- Term of Employment: 10.5 Months
- Union: Unaffiliated
