What You’ll Do:

  • Career Readiness Coaching: Help students build the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. You’ll guide them in areas like resume writing, interview preparation, networking, and workplace etiquette.
  • Project-Based Learning: You’ll receive strong support and training to effectively implement project-based learning. This means creating hands-on, engaging activities that equip students with real-world problem-solving skills.
  • Goal Achievement Mentorship: Inspire and mentor students as they set and achieve personal, educational, and career goals. Be the support for them to dream big and provide the structure they need to make those dreams a reality.
  • Community Partnerships: Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and colleges to create career opportunities for your students, from job shadowing to internships.
  • Student Advocacy: Be an advocate for your students, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to overcome obstacles, both inside and outside the classroom.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree, valid teaching license, experience working with high school students and one (1) plus years work-related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work 12 months per year. Must pass a criminal background check.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • FSC offers a very competitive wage for this full-time, exempt position with a minimum starting rate of $51,214.06 /year with additional compensation based on direct experience beyond the minimum requirements.

  • Excellent benefit package, including Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, 401(k) with match, generous PTO plan with accruing 4 weeks of PTO the first year of employment and 12 paid holidays

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work is performed in an office environment and may require incumbents to do some light lifting or routine maintenance of basic office equipment. Position may require travel to various other locations within the state.
