Domain Knowledge: Retirement, 401K, Defined Contribution
Location: onsite 2 weeks per month in Durham, NC
PowerBI Developer:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the objectives and requirements of the migration project from OBIEE and Oracle Exadata to Power BI hosted on Snowflake, AWS, and Azure platforms.
  • Design, develop, and implement Power BI solutions to meet the reporting needs of Fidelity, ensuring alignment with EI and WI cloud strategies.
  • Utilize Power BI Embedded Analytics to create interactive dashboards and reports tailored to address specific business challenges and improve decision-making.
  • Work closely with data architects and engineers to ensure seamless data integration between Snowflake, Power BI, and other data sources, maintaining data quality and consistency.
  • Develop data models and establish best practices for data visualization and reporting using Power BI, optimizing performance and usability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for self-service reporting and implement solutions that empower end-users to generate insights independently.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to business requirements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionality, encouraging adoption and proficiency in leveraging analytics capabilities.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in Power BI, Snowflake, and cloud technologies, incorporating new features and functionalities into reporting solutions.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
