POSITION SUMMARY

The Corporate Accountant will maintain financial records, prepare financial statements, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide financial analysis to support the company's decision-making process. This position will report to the Assistant Corporate Controller and will work in the Scottsdale, AZ corporate office.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting.

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
  • Manage journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

Compliance and Auditing:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights on business performance.
  • Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and analysis.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Team environment

WORK SETTING

  • In-person, Monday to Friday.
  • Corporate Office in Scottsdale, AZ.
  • No travel is required.
