We nurture an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, hard-working people to join Alcon As an Operator – Attaching supporting our Surgical Manufacturing Team, you will be trusted to set up and operate manufacturing equipment used to assemble products.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Performing a variety of repetitive, manual assembly operations to exacting standards.
  • Completes the batch records and associated documentation
  • Works in a coordinated, computerized manufacturing environment. Tasks are performed following applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards. Tasks are completed in compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • May participate in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to improve program quality, cost, and scheduling

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Work Hours: Monday – Friday: 1st Shift: 5:45 AM EST - 1:45 PM EST
  • Sponsorship & Relocation: Not Available

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent hand & eye coordination
  • Experience using a microscope
