Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of credit risk models and strategies.
  • Monitor and report on credit risk metrics and portfolio performance.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports and documentation for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts and other departments to assess and manage credit risk.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Identify and escalate potential credit risks and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions that may impact credit risk.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in credit risk analysis, finance, or a related area (internships or relevant coursework may be considered).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with credit risk management software or tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of credit risk modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools or financial analysis software.
  • Certification or coursework related to credit risk management (e.g., FRM, CFA).
