Company Overview: Ready, one of the fastest rising sports nutrition companies in America growing over 200% in the past 2 years, with co-owners Super Bowl Champion Aaron Donald and basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, is looking for an individual to manage Ready Customer sales accounting and selling, general and administrative (SG&A) expense accounting for the organization.
Position Purpose: This position will provide accounting and analytical focus related to customer sales data to ensure that corporate objectives are met. This role will work across the organization to ensure trade, advertising and other G&A costs are in line with internal expectations and industry standards. This role will build strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders within the Ready network.
Responsibilities:
Lead various departments in completion of annual budget and forecast process impacting gross sales, trade and advertising expense and all other SG&A expenses.
Responsible for the timely reporting and analysis of sales by customer and item.
Responsible for the accounting and analysis of Ready trade and advertising expenses including analysis vs budget/forecast/prior year.
Responsible for all SG&A expense accounting including analysis vs budget/forecast and prior year.
Calculate and analyze customer profitability and work with sales, category management and operation teams to drive margin improvement.
Calculate broker commission accruals and payments.
Accounting, reporting and analysis of customer deductions to identify operational and cost improvement opportunities.
Work with sales and category teams to develop pricing models/scenarios across customer base.
Work with accounting team and external auditors on completion of audits for areas of responsibility.
Work with Ready online platform to develop sales and margin analytics for online channel.
Lead finance team in completion of monthly reporting and analysis of financial results.
Special projects as necessary to support the Ready organizations objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting, auditing or other financial analysis experience is required.
- CPA preferred
- Experience with integrated ERP systems such as NetSuite, oracle, JD Edwards or other fully integrated ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills & strong desire to identify improvement opportunities.
- Accuracy and attention to details

- Excellent organizational abilities

- Self -directed work style
- Ability to handle multiple tasks across various functional areas
- Strong Microsoft product suite experience is a must
