Key Responsibilities of the Behavioral TechnicianImplement, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions for individuals with autism, developmental challenges, and various learning disabilities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Work Schedule: School Day Hours, School Year with 6 Weeks in Summer
Qualifications- Valid Registered Behavior Technician Certification or completion of a 40-hour RBT training course
- Experience with individuals facing developmental challenges
- Encourage safe and socially appropriate replacement behaviors to enhance student communication, social skills, and problem-solving abilities
- Adhere to students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) utilizing ABA methodologies and other relevant interventions under the supervision of designated BCBA, special education instructors, and therapists
- Maintain documentation of RBT supervision in compliance with BACB standards
- Assess treatment effectiveness and collaborate with BCBAs to modify IEPs for optimal outcomes
