Do you have a sales job or other job that allows for schedule flexibility? Are you a gymnastics judge, coach, or athletic director and looking for fun and fulfilling work that provides a return on investment?
Plum is looking for a part-time sales representative that is outgoing, ambitious, self-motivated, detail-oriented, loves the sport of gymnastics, and enjoys working with people in the industry. Our ideal remote, sales representative will have a number of contacts in schools, gyms, sports organizations, and businesses.

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Plan and prospect assigned territory of sales
- Identify and suggest products and services to meet the needs of the prospects.
- Promote positivity within the relationships with customers.
- Travel to appointments and events within the territory
- Seek fashion and product knowledge to build your expertise
- Conduct consults and fittings with coaches and their athletes
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, and any customer or vendor relationship communications.
- Provide periodic territory sales forecasts

Skills Required:
- Knowledge of the gymnastics community is preferred
- Ability to generate leads, forecast your sales cycle, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions, with an aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals
- Willingness to learn in-depth product construction, technicalities, and pricing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Physical Qualifications
- Constant speaking and hearing
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to maintain a moderate level of physical activities
- Ability to maintain a composed and professional demeanor
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening and responding in person, by phone, and online.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assignments
- Detail-oriented with above-average organizational skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently.
- Proficiency with basic computer functions (email, time tracking, document retrieval, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent and two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
