Work includes pool and spa service and theoretical system understanding in electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, and fundamental construction techniques. Will also be required to learn Southern Nevada Health District permit processes.
GeneralParticipates in technical training as directed by the Chief Operating Officer or the company Training Plan.Is responsible for and supporting all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to· Safety· Quality· Continuous Improvement· Administrative policies and procedures
Level I – MechanicalWill perform physical work necessary to support existing Quality One Pool Management Properties and provide outside services. Work includes commercial or Residential repairs. This individual ensures all work is performed safely and professionally, consistent with company policies, guidelines, and requirements.Work includes performing;Basic repairs or maintenance, i.e., replacing seals or seal plates, changing motors or time clocks, etc. Generating estimates for repair or maintenance work
Develop and submit proposals for Clients.
Supporting log entries that track the status of work performed.
Develop and submit SNHD permits or permits for the Mechanical Compliance Section related to pool/spa heaters.You are responsible for communicating and interacting with the Client as appropriate to assure customer satisfaction and positive outcomes to any adverse field condition that may arise.
Work may include plumbing, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and moderate programming. All work shall comply with national, state, and local requirements, codes, or standards.Is responsible for coordinating and supervising, if required, response to an unplanned emergency at properties during or after business hours.
Must successfully pass in-house Level I Mechanical Theory and Practical Examination within 60 days of hireThe Level I shall be required to attend seminars or trade shows as may be directed by management
Aquatic System Professional (AST)Work is related to the pool(s), spa(s), or fountain(s). It may include cleaning, brushing, scrubbing, skimming, pumping, backwashing, chemical testing and evaluation, chemical addition, timer or setting changes, filter replacement, log entries into Skimmer, etc. All work shall be performed in compliance with company, state, and local requirements, codes, or standards. The AST may assist supervisory personnel during major maintenance or response operations during or after business hours.The AST shall maintain the work truck, cleaning/maintenance equipment, and work uniforms in a clean and working state of order, reflecting company values and attitudes. Defects or deficiencies shall be promptly reported to the Field Supervisor for correction.The AST is responsible for observing all traffic regulations and ordinances when utilizing company vehicles or personnel vehicles for company business. The AST shall comply with the vehicle safety program. Specific training will be provided.The AST shall be responsible for providing proper care at all times when on the property, including observance of policies and procedures related to items such as gate closings, postings, conditions requiring lockout of a pool or spa, etc.Key Responsibility Areas:Provide a detailed listing of the critical areas of responsibility, including specific deliverables as appropriate. Please indicate the approximate percentage of time devoted to each. Record the vital areas in decreasing order of importance. Responsibility Area #1: Service, Maintenance, repairs% of Time: 60As directed, perform service, maintenance, and repair services on relevant pool/spa equipment at new or existing residential or commercial properties.Service pools and spas as may be necessarySubmit for permits, e.g., like-for-like, approvals with the Southern Nevada Health District.Maintain Work/Deficiency log, repair orders, etc. (Skimmer software)Assist Operations as directed.Sign or authorize timesheets for any subordinate personnel.Responsibility Area #2: Administrative% of Time: 25Order replacement equipment and materials consistent with the authorized scopeMonitor – follow up all work to ensure proper equipment performance and operations are maintained consistent with contract requirements.Complete internal company documents as may be directedForward documents or records to the office as may be requiredInterface and coordinate with Southern Nevada Health District as it may relate to work performanceComplete job estimates and generate proposalsResponsibility Area #3: Daily Activities % of Time: 5Respond to emergent conditions. Strong computer skills - Proficient in using Microsoft software, particularly Excel.
Supervision Received:Minimal supervision required; extensive latitude for independent judgment
Supervisory Responsibilities:Interfaces with the Client and performs as the company representative when warranted or directed.
Budgetary Responsibilities:This individual may authorize new work not exceeding $ 500.00

Education and Experience:Formal Education:HS Diploma or equivalentExperience:3-5 years of industry experience repairing and maintaining pool and spa equipment.
