Job Overview

Position Summary: The Aquatic Systems Maintenance Intern is tasked with executing work duties related to the cleaning and maintenance of pool and spa apparatus under guidance. This role ensures that all tasks are carried out safely and professionally, adhering to company policies and standards.

The intern will engage in cleaning services for various pool and spa equipment, which may involve activities such as scrubbing, skimming, and brushing.

Key Duties:

  • Conduct cleaning operations effectively.
  • Assist in maintenance tasks as instructed.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Respond to urgent situations as they arise.
  • Report any adverse conditions or incidents to supervisors.
  • Coordinate with the Office Manager on administrative tasks as needed.
  • Complete internal documentation, including timesheets, as directed.
  • Submit necessary documents or records to the office.
  • Contribute to the company's training objectives in line with the Training Plan.
  • Support the implementation of the Company Safety Program.
  • Assist in the execution of the Company Quality Program.
  • May be assigned tasks related to cleaning or organizing areas within facilities or the company shop.

Qualifications:

a) Education: A High School diploma is mandatory.

b) Professional Certification: The candidate must achieve Apprentice Level Technician status within 90 days of employment.

c) Experience: No specific prior experience is necessary.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to extreme temperatures (both hot and cold).
  • Working in dry, humid, or dusty environments.
  • Potential exposure to precipitation (rain or snow).
  • Varied lighting conditions, including extreme brightness or darkness.
