General Summary Of Duties:

Acquire all PPE equipment needed for job duties including gloves, apron, scrub pad, detergent, and sanitizer.  Cleans pots, pans, and cooking utensils as needed then transfers to their home location in order to provide cooks with appropriate equipment in order for Team Member to perform their job. Also, requires cleaning of physical surroundings. 

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

1. Cleaning pots & pans in three compartment sink  or pot washer machine
2. Maintain sanitation levels for work station to include cleaning the floor as needed in the pot wash area.
3. Change the water in pot washer machine every three hours.
4. Make sure pots and pan or air dry prior to stacking them on the storage racks.
5. Transport all dirty pots, pans and kitchen utensils from room service dish room to pot washer room to be washed.
6. Transport all clean pots, pans and kitchen utensils from pot room back to eatery kitchen and main kitchen.
7. Follow the same procedures for the pot wash room in the main kitchen and banquet kitchen.
8. Wash and sanitize large kittle pots on hot line as needed.
9. Make sure all pots, pans and kitchen utensils are washed rinsed and sanitized prior to storage.
10. Keep dirty pots, pans and kitchen utensils in separate locations, specifically must be at least 24” between dirty and clean equipment.
11. Make sure all transport carts and four deckers are clean before stacking clean pots and pans on them.
12. Wash hands as needed as feeding the pot washer machine and prior to catching the clean pans on the receiving end of the pot washer machine.
13. All team members must follow Health Department regulations.

Performance Requirements: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)

• Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic instructions.
• Ability to understand verbal English in case of emergency situations.
• Ability to understand verbal/written English sufficient to understand verbal/written job requests from supervisor.
• Ability to perform duties within temperature ranges of hot-normal-cold. Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use scraper and scrub pad.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment including pot washing machine.
• Ability to work in unfavorable conditions which can occasionally be hot, noisy and wet. 

  Typical physical / mental demands

• Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry 60lbs. max, or otherwise, move or push goods on a four-decker weighing a maximum of 350 lbs. on a continuous schedule.
• Ability to walk/stand and work 95 percent of shift up to a maximum of one mile per shift. Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling and walking significant distances within the facility. 

  Typical Working Condition:

• Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public
