Maintenance Engineer


Reports directly to:

Chief Engineer


Job Overview:

The purpose of a Maintenance Engineer is to ensure that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensuring that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime

  • Performing preventative maintenance of kitchen & HVAC equipment

  • General building maintenance:

    • Plumbing & electrical repairs

    • Carpentry

    • Drywall repairs

    • Painting

    • Snow removal

    • Life safety inspections

    • Regular mechanical maintenance

    • Grounds & landscaping maintenance

  • Some lifting and moving of furniture required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance or HVAC trade

  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours a day.

  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed accuracy, follow through, and work with a minimum supervision.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Ability to grasp, bend, and stoop; push or pull heavy loads weighing up to 30 lbs.
