Responsibilities

The main responsibility of the Housekeeping Inspector is supervising the housekeeping staff and inspecting the performance of assigned Room Attendants, ensuring the overall quality and cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and service areas. In addition the Housekeeping Inspector would:

  • Ensure that all Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens
  • Ensures training for safe and proper usage of cleaning solutions and equipment
  • Assist in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary
  • Report any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms
  • Ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned
