General Description:

As an Image Processing Intern, you will be involved in processing aerial digital imagery for mapping purposes, which is collected during flights.

Essential Duties:

  • Create, edit, and review digital imagery.
  • Perform digital image mosaicking, color balancing, and editing tasks.
  • Manage, track, produce, and archive large quantities of data.
  • Complete projects within set deadlines to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on all products.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Preferred coursework in Geography/GIS or related fields
  • Knowledge of maps and geographic coordinates is advantageous.
  • Ability to comprehend aerial imagery and its characteristics.
  • Familiarity with ESRI products and/or AutoCAD is beneficial.
  • Experience with Photoshop is a plus.
