Salary:

Starting at $53,040.00

About the Position:

Develop a supportive relationship with clients and employees in the Adoption Conversion Program by ensuring quality delivery of services, timely documentation, and strengths-based supervision to designated team with the overall objective of achieving solutions that promote stability and permanency.

A Typical Day as an Adoption Supervisor:

  • Provide oversight of the adoptive case management team
  • Conduct group and individual supervision meetings to workers in multiple branch offices
  • Participate on the adoption leadership team
  • Maintain and supervise adoption records and documentation in accordance with agency, DCFS, and other state/federal policies
  • Engage with families and clients by visiting them in a variety of settings to assess progress towards their goals.

Location:

502 S. Morris Ave, IL including travel and spending time in the field visiting clients and other branch offices to meet with Adoption Conversion Team.

Work Hours:

Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based on the availability of youth and families served. Hybrid work is available based on job duties.

Does the Following Apply to You?

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Human Service, or related DCFS approved degree
  • Child Welfare Experience (preferred)
  • Child Welfare Licensure (preferred)
  • Adoption Experience (preferred)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Completion of DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Obtain an insured vehicle
  • At least three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license
  • Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training to obtain Child Welfare Licensure
