DUTIES:

  • Coach participants towards developing satisfying, hopeful, and fulfilling lives as fined by the program participant.
  • Assist participants in identifying and pursuing their recovery goals.
  • Maintain records, EHR, and documentation as required by Spurwink or State Agencies.
  • Actively uses relevant aspects of motivational interviewing, life coaching, WRAP, and peer support to engage participants.
  • Attend medical and dental appointments as appropriate, with patient, for support and/or advocacy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent, two-year degree/some college preferred. Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) certification and/or Certified Recovery Coach certification required. If not certified - must take Peer Support 101 within 30 days of hire and CIPSS certified within 1 year of employment.
