About this position

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our growing team and we’re always looking for new ways to disrupt the status quo, go to market faster, and optimize customer experiences. Work alongside partners, developers, project managers, and designers in a fast-moving, cross-functional team to gather requirements, design, and implement elegant cloud-based solutions for complex problems.  

Our ideal candidate is curious, can bridge gaps in understanding between technical and non-technical collaborators, and can easily juggle multiple projects and priorities. You value and advocate for a better end-user experience. You are collaborative and can make a well-rounded contribution to the team.

This is a full-time position out of our Lexington, KY office and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote. If remote, you can expect to visit the office for new hire orientation and typically for team meetings once a quarter.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Oversee all stages in the SDLC, from the refinement of work to release
  • Work with partners to determine needs and define requirements, understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements for the development team
  • Collaborate with functional team members to write features and user stories
  • Define and communicate the product vision to align the team’s efforts.
  • Prioritize product backlogs, evaluate progress, and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead standup, planning, and retrospective meetings using the agile methodology
  • Lead team to define the product roadmap and growth opportunities
  • Set expectations for the delivery of new functionalities

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of technical product ownership, business analysis, or similar experience
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills required to interact with internal, external, and potential partners 
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodology and tooling
  • Proven ability to research potential solutions and propose paths forward
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize work in the face of conflicting priorities
  • Ability to share knowledge and answer questions related to the product
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
