WHO YOU ARE

You are a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional with a deep understanding of the advertising/media planning and buying industry. With a strong background in financial analysis and budgeting, you excel in managing complex financial models, forecasts, and reports that drive strategic decision-making. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing the need for accuracy with the agility to respond to the dynamic needs of the business.

YOUR ROLE

As the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you report to the Managing Director of Commercial Finance. You will maintain our client financial relationships of multiple clients and act to support the finance leads for all financial deliverables to clients, including contractual compliance, reconciliations, and profitability analysis. The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst will work with the Client Service Teams to ensure financial elements of our client relationship are tracked, monitored, and communicated

The main responsibilities of the role are to support the Commercial Finance team:

  • Works with the business to analyze and build forecasts, improve data capture and collection process and help analyze and create useful insights to share with the business.
  • Track revenue vs. budget and research variance drivers.
  • Prepare utilization, overhead and client profitability analyses.
  • Review client contracts to ensure financial compliance.
  • Manage intercompany and global revenue forecasts and cross charges.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals for clients.
  • Supports the business in their development and tracking of short, medium and long-term resourcing requirements.
  • Help identify ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Support the efforts to prepare and produce all client financial deliverables.
  • Supplies ad-hoc financial information and analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant finance / accounting qualification.
  • 3+ years of FP&A or Audit experience required;
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant/Certified Management Accountant a plus but not required;
  • Experience in Client Finance and Financial Planning/Accounting preferably in Media and Advertising a plus.
  • Highly proficient in Excel including pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas, charts, etc.
  • Experience with building dashboards, utilizing Datorama or Tableau.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work well independently and on teams;
  • Tenacity to follow-through on open items to complete assignments and meet deadlines
  • An analytical and critical thinker, with the ability to tell a story backed by data
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact within team and across functions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A supporter and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion

Salary range of $70k-85k, commensurate with experience. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications and tenure of the applicant.
