Training Manager

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to join our team. This role is open to US Citizens ONLY. This position is onsite in Madison, WI with some telework possible.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in training with a preference for experience in government or military sectors. This role requires a motivated and skilled individual with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of training methodologies, and the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
In this role you will:
- Develop and implement training programs and initiatives that align with organizational goals and enhance employee skills and competencies
- Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions on assorted topics to diverse audiences, utilizing best practices in adult learning principles
- Motivate, communicate, and instruct/train others on facilitation techniques to ensure consistent and impactful delivery of training
- Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to assess training needs, provide guidance, and support organizational development efforts
- Utilize a consultative approach to communicate effectively and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support training initiatives and foster a culture of learning
- Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, virtual environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities with autonomy
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite proficiently to develop high-quality training materials and reports that reflect excellence and professionalism
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in training facilitation and program management
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences
- Demonstrated consultative approach with exceptional communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to thrive in a virtual work environment, managing complex tasks and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to create polished and effective training materials and reports
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, as required
Note: Experience gained through military service, membership in a military family, or volunteer work with military families will be considered.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Leadership, Organizational Development, Talent Development, Adult Learning, Program Development, Human Development, Relational Leadership, Military Culture, or Program Management, or a related field
- A combination of relevant experience and education will be considered
Salary:
- Commensurate with experience
