Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and strategic Product Manager for North America to drive the growth of our luminaire business within the infrastructure and urban deco lighting solutions portfolio. This portfolio includes urban decorative, cities & communities, road, tunnel, sports, industry, and smart lighting product solutions. Working globally, this candidate will closely collaborate with the Schréder Hyperion team in Portugal and Ligman teams in Thailand to drive product solutions for the North America market.

What you will do: 

Product leadership: 

  • Lead the product line(s) for the North America lighting market, driving success and performance by working closely with global teams to ensure timely launches for the region.

Market, customer, and business planning:

  • Conduct thorough research and gain deep understanding of market dynamics including competition, trends, new technologies, and pricing to grow revenue with the product line.
  • Author new product technical requirements needed for growth and create comprehensive business plans.

Product portfolio road mapping:

  • Implement plans to adjust and enhance the product portfolio roadmaps, documenting new product development plans to expand our global catalog and facilitate growth.

Regulatory compliance:

  • Ensure products comply with relevant regulations and standards such as UL and DLC approvals across North America.

Sales enablement:

  • Ensure the sales team and indirect representatives understand the value, positioning, applications, and capabilities of our products and our design and engineering services.

Skills Requested:

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in product management, preferably within the lighting industry or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and launching new products, preferably in a global or North American market context.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on a global level.

  • Capacity to stay abreast of new technology trends, competitive threats, and relevant global industry trends.
