Door Shop Worker

Job Title: Interior Door Shop- Prep Person

Reports to: Production Manager/Division Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Work Hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm- or until daily orders are completed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Must be able to properly operate a Trim Machine.

- Prepare casing to specification for manufactured door units.

- Operate manufacturing a Stich Machine in a safe manner.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Detect and promptly report any safety or mechanical malfunctions to supervisor or management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Must be able to read a tape measure.

- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

- Must be able to read and understand production tickets.

- Must be able to report ready to work each day on time.

Education/Experience:

- High School Diploma or general Education Degree (GED) required.

- No prior industry experience required, on the job training provided.
