We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Service Fitter & Install Technician to join our team

Salary range: $50.00 - $60.00 / hr. depending on applicable skills, experience and certifications.

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Fitter & Install Technician, you’re responsible for the installation, inspection, service, and/or repair of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems. Ensure high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.

In this role you will:

  • Perform installation, service, and/or repair of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems
  • Perform periodic inspections per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 standards - internal piping inspections, obstruction investigations, flow tests, and hydro tests
  • Provide accurate documentation through the use of Service Trade and state/local documentation as required
  • Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations
  • Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up, quotes, questions, or concerns

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years’ experience as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter.
  • Washington Fitter Card
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, & 25
  • Working knowledge of current codes and standards of fire sprinkler systems
  • NICET II Water Based Systems certification (highly preferred)
  • Must be able to work an on call schedule once every 6 weeks
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Frequently lift and carry toolboxes, tools, equipment, parts, cabling, and/or wiring
  • Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent ladder climbing, often while carrying up to 50 pounds
