YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR:

This is a full-time position based in Indianapolis, IN, offering a Monday through Friday work schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.

Imagine starting your day by analyzing blueprints and CAD drawings, leveraging your expertise to create precise HVAC load calculations and designs. Using advanced software programs, you'll develop accurate load calculations, duct layouts, and estimated cost proposals. Your meticulous attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential as you interpret complex drawings and collaborate with our divisional sales team and customers. Effective communication and timely information delivery are crucial in this critical role. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities to excel, keeping your work engaging and rewarding.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this Construction Estimator position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in interpreting blueprints and CAD drawings
  • Proficiency in software programs for HVAC load calculations and estimating
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Our ideal candidate has HVAC experience but it's not required as training is provided. We're also looking for someone that is highly collaborative, deadline-driven with the ability to work beyond normal office hours, can handle the upkeep of bids and status logs, and is an excellent communicator.
