Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at 84 Lumber. As a key member of our Commercial Construction team, you will be responsible for estimating the costs of wood framed building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed material lists for installed sales
  • Assist in material usage and estimating
  • Develop scopes of work for subcontracted labor
  • Read and analyze architectural and structural drawings
  • Meet with customers for reviews and changes
  • Perform store duties as assigned by the Store Manager
Requirements
  • Ability to use discretion and independent judgment
  • Ability to review and estimate costs from architectural and structural drawings
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports and technical procedures
  • Proficiency in Word Processing, Inventory, and Spreadsheet Software
  • Experience with Plan Swift software
