The Opportunity

We are seeking an initiative-taking and experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of segment-specific sales & marketing strategic initiatives across our OEM, Distribution, and new channel segments. This is a newly created role, which will require the ability to build alignment, collaborate, and drive engagement across a variety of departments internally and externally. This role will also be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the sales cycle. Internally such as, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Materials Planning, Finance, CRM Team, and our regional partners in Canada, Mexico & Brazil along with our team in Austria. External customer focuses would be our OEM, Distribution, Cabinetmakers, Industry Partners, and new channel segments.

Responsibilities

  • This position will take the lead when it comes to driving collaboration with the various segments mentioned above and with primary focus in the following areas:
  • Assist in the develop, implementation, and manage sales strategies and processes to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Optimize sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and sales forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute sales campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist Regional Managers in the development of short term and longer-term efforts to grow their current OEM and Distribution customers but in addition secure new customers as well.
  • Utilize sales tools and technologies, including CRM systems, to leverage data reporting and analysis to drive change.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on sales processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to align sales strategies with financial goals and operational capabilities.
  • Generate regular reports and presentations on sales performance, new products, forecasts, and key metrics for senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales operations.
  • Assist in the development of new hire on-boarding and first 3-12 months of hire.

In addition to the basic requirements of the position, all employees are expected to meet the company's goals of continual improvement in the areas of knowledge, skills, processes, quality, and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent documented work experience in sales, operations, marketing, training, and or field sales development is required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales operations or related field, with a proven history of driving sales performance and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Experienced in promotional development, new product launches, strategic planning, and execution across multiple channel segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaboration, engagement and building trust.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and coaching a team.
  • Highly organized and meticulous, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability with basic financial acumen.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Methodical thinker with an initiative-taking and purposeful mindset.
  • Ability to work across the Blum organization and adapt to the Blum culture are required. This position will work closely with our subsidiaries (Canada, Mexico, Brazil) and Austria.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn a new CRM system.
  • Must have a valid United States driver’s license in your state of residence.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and Motor Vehicle Report screening.
  • Experience in woodworking industry would be helpful but not required.
  • Knowledge of kitchen cabinet industry is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time.
