JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Director of Military Sales (EDMS) has full responsibility for all sales activity and results in North American Rescue’s Military sales division. This division includes all branches of the United States military to include Special Operations Command and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The EDMS or their designee is responsible for ensuring NAR products are added and maintained on SKOs/AMAL/ADALs and other DOD contract vehicles. The EDMS or their designee is responsible for building and maintaining key relationships within DLA. The EDMS or their designee is responsible for building and maintaining key relationships in the military in order to identify new product requirements. The EDMS will work closely with the Executive Director of Distribution to manage the administration of military distributors. The EDMS is responsible for the daily leadership and management of all assigned personnel. They are responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships both internally and externally with NAR customers. They are responsible for ensuring open communication within the Military sales team and fostering communication between other NAR sales divisions and departments. They are responsible for the management and execution of the Military sales operational and sales budget. They are responsible for working with the relevant Henry Schein team members to collaborate on new sales opportunities. They are responsible for identifying all Military trade shows and ensuring the appropriate sales personnel are assigned to cover the shows. The EDMS will work closely with the trade show coordinator and trade show sales associate (pack-out) to ensure smooth execution of Military trade shows. The EDMS is responsible for reporting, analyzing, and presenting sales results as needed. The EDMS is accountable for all sales results in the Military division. They are responsible for setting expectations and MBOs for all assigned personnel. They are responsible for conducting performance reviews on a semi-annual basis for all assigned personnel. Responsible for coaching, developing and professional development of all assigned personnel. Displays leadership, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Frequent travel is required to support sales efforts to include travel to NAR headquarters. EDMS must have a current passport and no travel restrictions. Responsible for attending and participating in all company meetings. Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Leads and manages all assigned personnel on a daily basis.
- Responsible for all sales activity and sales results of the Military sales division.
- Responsible for the management and execution of the Military sales operational and sales budget

- Provides leadership, coaching and direction to all assigned personnel.
- Participates in all NAR leadership meetings as needed.
- Responsible for presenting sales results as needed to senior leadership.
- Must ensure compliance with all required Henry Schein training.
- Utilizes performance management tools as needed.
- Ensures all assigned personnel are compliant with required Henry Schein training.
- Provides routine feedback to assigned personnel with regards to job performance and areas of improvement.
- Conducts performance reviews as required for all assigned personnel.
- Documents behavior and job performance in accordance with HR policies.
- Maintains a positive working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in management or military medical sales.
- Master’s degree is preferred.

- Displays strong business acumen, judgement and conflict resolution

Experience
- Minimum of 10 years direct experience in the Military sales market.
- Minimum of 10 years leading and managing people in progressively more challenging roles.

DEMANDS
Time and Availability
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours each week from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. dictated by the needs of the business.
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
- Must be able to travel to headquarters in Greer, South Carolina as needed.
- Able to travel up to 50%.
