Job Description Seeking a skilled Repair and Replacement Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and replace components in a wide range of automotive transmissions, ensuring each job meets our high standards of quality and performance.   • Diagnose issues in automotive transmissions using diagnostic tools, test drives, and visual inspections.
  • Disassemble, repair, and replace transmission components, including clutches, gears, and bearings, following industry standards.
  • Rebuild transmissions to factory specifications, ensuring high-quality performance and durability.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential transmission issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the service manager and other team members regarding job status, parts needed, and any additional repairs required.
  • Test repaired transmissions to confirm successful repair and proper function before returning the vehicle to the customer.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check
