Job Description

Seeking a skilled Repair and Replacement Technician to join our team. In this role, you’ll diagnose, repair, and replace components in a wide range of automotive transmissions, ensuring each job meets our high standards of quality and performance. If you have a strong mechanical background and a commitment to delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose issues in automotive transmissions using diagnostic tools, test drives, and visual inspections.
  • Disassemble, repair, and replace transmission components, including clutches, gears, and bearings, following industry standards.
  • Rebuild transmissions to factory specifications, ensuring high-quality performance and durability.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential transmission issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with the service manager and other team members regarding job status, parts needed, and any additional repairs required.
  • Test repaired transmissions to confirm successful repair and proper function before returning the vehicle to the customer.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is $20-$25 an hour, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future & continued salary growth
