As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of coffee and tea beverages in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking and accurately processing their orders.
- Operate coffee brewing and grinding equipment with precision to ensure the highest quality beverages.
- Handle cash and electronic transactions accurately, providing customers with the correct change and receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee preparation and service areas.
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate with management about product needs.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Stay informed about current coffee trends, product offerings, and promotions.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
