Overview

STONE Resource Group is partnered with a leading company in the Insurance Industry that is looking to expand their current team by adding a high level Data Governance Engineer to their organization. You will have the ability to directly influence change within the organization and build out a completely new Data Governance Practice from the ground up. Job Responsibilities

  • Designing and Building data governance frameworks.
  • Working hands-on with Azure services on a daily basis.
  • Building out security pipelines (encryption, decryption, compliance related things)
  • Establishes policies and procedures to support new technology initiatives across the organization
  • Supports the Identity Governance and Identity Lifecycle management products


Must-Have Skillsets

  • 7+ years of experience in Azure Data Platforms, Data Engineering, and Software Engineering in highly visible enterprise environments.
  • 4+ years of working experience within a Data products build and operations in Azure Cloud environments.
  • Experience in managing/collaborating with a high-profile team of Data Engineers, DevOps, data scientists, Business Analytics and Data Analysts.
  • Experience auditing Azure SQL Databases.


Nice to Have Skillsets

  • The ideal candidate will have Hands-on experience working as a Data Engineer before shifting into a career that is more Data Governance focused. It will be extremely beneficial to have someone who is strong technically, but also capable of doing the Data Governance buildout and strategy.
