Job DescriptionJob Description

Mercedes-Benz of North Haven has an immediate opening for a Parts advisor to join our team. The individual in this role will serve as a liaison between customers and parts personnel, stocking parts, assisting in sales, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years previous parts counter experience and a passion for customer service.

Responsibilities 

  • Take customer orders and answer queries over the phone, interact directly with customers, technicians, or in person as required
  • Assist customers in selecting the correct parts/accessories they need
  • Provide exceptional customer service daily
  • Inspect all parts for defects and ensure quality
  • Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Stock, organize, rotate all merchandise
  • Maintain cleanliness of the parts counter
  • Perform daily tasks assigned by the Parts Manager

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Parts Counter experience (5 years minimum)
  • knowledge of automobile parts and inventory
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organizational and problem solving skills
  • Dependable, reliable, and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift and move product items up to 60 pounds
