Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

AnthroMed is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year. AnthroMed Education is an organization dedicated to partnering with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students in school districts. Location: Washington, DC 

Type of Position: Full-time 

  

About the role:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders regarding your students’ communication and development in all domains addressed by SLPs. 

  • Implement AAC and conduct interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure AAC implementation across services.  

  • Provide therapy using a variety of service delivery models including classroom push-in. 

  • Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services and clearly identify necessary classroom accommodations. 

  • Provide appropriate speech and language intervention for eligible students. 

  • Participate in team meetings for the development of students’ individualized education programs. 

  • Complete relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures. 

  

Qualifications: 

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience. 
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders. 
  • Valid DC SLP license from the District of Columbia’s Department of Health.
