Job DescriptionJob DescriptionReports ToMultimedia ManagerJob OverviewThe Multimedia Video Specialist is accountable for ensuring that all e-commerce and creative assets align with the brand and adhere to Primary Arms' marketing strategy. Responsibilities include capturing and editing product, lifestyle, and range videos, as well as delivering final assets. This role also involves shooting and editing videos for new product launches, social media, and training purposes, and overseeing external video resources when necessary. Additional video projects, both in-studio and on-location, may be required as well.
 Responsibilities and DutiesThe ideal candidate will be able to:

• Work independently to capture product videos and location shoots as required
• Provide links to hosted video content upon request
• Secure necessary approvals and releases for video subjects
• Exercise significant control over the presentation of work product
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in producing work
• Ensure all videos are shot and edited to the highest quality standards
• Accurately name, upload, and organize digital assets
• Responsible for completing video shot lists accurately
• Communicate status updates and potential issues with manager effectively
• Collaborate with manager to create detailed shot lists for external video teams
• Coordinate product collection and schedule for external video teams
• Obtain necessary approvals before major video shoots
• Proactively identify workflow challenges and provide potential solutions
• Post videos on appropriate platforms (YouTube, social media, Amplifi, etc.)
• Provide feedback to the manager to develop strategies for future video demands
• Actively seek opportunities to improve technical skills through testing and development exercises
• Communicate video concepts and ideas to the executive team
• Collaborate with other videographers to ensure all videography needs are met
• Accurately receive, organize, and return all products transferred by the warehouse
• Represent the company at media events
• Travel as necessary
• Perform other tasks as assigned within the Primary Arms team

Skills and Qualifications
  • High technical proficiency with preferred video equipment
  • Adobe Premiere and Adobe creative suite experience preferred
  • Strong desire to learn about and introduce new technology
  • Able to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and improving department processes
  • Strong organizational skills, self-sufficient and an independent thinker
  • Able to take direction and work well within a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment
  • Flexible to varying day to day workload
  • Ability to work independently
  • Video production experience is required
