Job DescriptionJob Description

Precision Aggregate Products is looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be crucial in maintaining and repairing diesel engines used in our heavy-duty trucks, loaders, and crushers fleet. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and performance of our equipment, supporting our operations in delivering superior service to our customers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on diesel engines and related components.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
  • Rebuild engines, manage parts ordering, and returns.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot engine malfunctions.
  • Replace or repair defective parts such as pistons, valves, and bearings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Type: Full-time

Expected Hours: 40 per week
