Job Summary:

Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide variety of equipment, including warehouse equipment, manufacturing equipment, and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all manufacturing plant equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Repair and maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment in the plant, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
  • Ensure safety of all personnel in the Maintenance group meets company standards of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations and those within Company Policy.
  • Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety rules and policies.
  • Conduct other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have manufacturing experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Must have experience repairing manufacturing equipment and plant equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI, machine control, and industrial robotics.
  • Ability to interpret machine schematic, electrical, and mechanical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, day shift or night shift
