Job Title: Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)
Location: On-site in Bethesda, MD
Salary: $120,000.00 to $145,000.00
Role Summary: Join our client’s team as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) and make a difference in oncology patient care. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and participation in clinical trials. Ideal candidates are experienced in oncology and possess excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program
APRN or PA license in appropriate state
Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply
Current ANCC or ONS certification (AOCN-P)
Current BLS
Minimum of five (5) years of oncology experience
Responsibilities:
Assess patients through interviews, exams, and diagnostic studies
Prescribe medications and therapeutic measures
Determine patient eligibility for clinical trials
Collaborate with physicians on patient care
Document patient histories and progress
Assist in managing patient and family dynamics
Participate in daily rounds and provide on-call coverage
Triage patients and prioritize care
Desired Qualifications:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
