Purpose:

As a Senior eCommerce Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing eCommerce and marketing channel data, reporting insights and trends that impact decisioning on and off-site, implementing tracking system that provide insights, and managing the brand’s analytics tools.

The ideal candidate is data-driven, self-starting, and curious to find new ways of solving data challenges. They will work track and report data in ways that help drive optimizations on digital user experiences, marketing channel investments, product merchandising, promotions, omni-channel personalization, and localization to improve key metrics (conversion rate, ROAS, CAC, AOV, purchase frequency, etc.).

What that looks like day to day:

  • Serve as the Data & Analytics lead for Edible Brands and all of its owned and off-premise / 3rd digital channels (examples include DoorDash, Uber Eats, ezCater, etc.)
  • Identify business opportunities through data and analytics through omnichannel experience (.com, app, third party, retail, etc.)
  • Maintain, optimize and evolve on-site / in-app tracking systems to provide greater levels of understanding on the customer journey
  • Work closely with the Data Science team to further integrate eCommerce data with off-site data sources for more integrated insights across the organization
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to understand key media mix strategies and supporting reporting performance against KPIs both on and off-site
  • Work with Edible's Data Science team to develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards for real-time performance monitoring, synergizing Adobe Analytics, marketing channel, CDP and custom data sets
  • Break down complex trends and analyses into actionable reporting that is clearly understood by stakeholders, often including cross-functional Executive Team members
  • Perform ad-hoc requested and proactive analyses that unlock optimization opportunities for the eCommerce, Marketing, Technology, and Product Innovation teams
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting (Adobe Analytics, GA4, internal PowerBI Dashboards) thorough regular, rigorous testing and optimization of data integrations and attribution setups
  • Monitor and report out on core eCommerce metrics as regularly as hourly during peak business periods to Executive stakeholders
  • Stay ahead of the curve on eCommerce analytics best practices, new opportunities and platforms, and industry standard metrics
  • Collaborate with eCommerce and Marketing team leads across web, email, paid media and social to understand current and planned initiatives and campaigns, finding ways to support their efforts through data and analytics
  • Work closely with Finance teams to corroborate reporting with sales actuals, understand past performance, and forecasting

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an analyst within an D2C eCommerce organization
  • Strong, hands-on experience in Adobe Analytics and PowerBI. Google Analytics, Twilio Segment, and Google Search Console experience are all a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree+ in quantitative field (i.e. Mathematics, Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Expertise in conversion-focused analysis (on-site, customer journey mapping and data collection/analysis) as well as marketing channel analysis (fundamental understanding of marketing channels roles in driving traffic and conversion)
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to implement custom tracking and optimize tracking implementations
  • Experience using multi-touch attribution models to define the role/contribution of each channel beyond last-touch
  • Expert Excel skillset
  • SQL and/or Python language experience preferred
