POSITION SUMMARY

The FP&A Manager (Finance) will lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions within the organization. This role involves working closely with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insights, support decision-making, and drive financial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES-DUTIES

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
    1. Lead the development and implementation of the organization’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    2. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making and drive financial performance.
    3. Develop and maintain complex financial models to support scenario analysis, long-term planning, and strategic initiatives.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    1. Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
    2. Prepare regular financial forecasts to senior leadership, identifying risks and opportunities.
    3. Monitor and report on budget performance, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
  3. Financial Reporting:
    1. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    2. Develop and prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
    3. Utilize data analytics to track and measure financial performance, identify trends, and develop targeted intervention strategies.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    1. Work closely with internal stakeholders, including accounting, operations, and clinical teams, to ensure alignment and integration of financial planning efforts.
    2. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to promote financial goals and achievements.
  5. Strategic Planning and Implementation
    1. Support the development and execution of the organization’s strategic plan, with a focus on financial performance and sustainability.
    2. Collaborate with clinical, operational, and business development teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
    3. Evaluate new opportunities for growth and expansion

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a healthcare setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and data analytics tools.
