Job Overview

Join our dynamic team for a summer internship opportunity at Rubies Costumes. We're seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are passionate about the Halloween industry to join us in various departments including Product Development, Licensing, Design, Sourcing, and Sales. This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to the exciting world of costumes and merchandise across all your favorite celebrations

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, leveraging the data to enhance the product development process.
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate new product concepts and features.
  • Collaborate with Costume Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, and Sourcing to assist in developing product specifications, requirements, launches, and promotions.
  • Support the development of product prototypes and mockups for makeup and costumes.
  • Track product information including documents, design specifications, and user manuals.

Job Competencies

  • Must be currently enrolled in College or University.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
  • Exhibit adaptability in navigating changing demands/responsibilities that may arise
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have a passion for the Halloween industry and pop-culture.
  • Must be able to commute to our office and work on-site.
