Our retail client is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer to join their team.

Pay Rate: $35.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.

Responsibilities of the Senior Instructional Designer:
  • Develop instructional training delivery methods and mediums
  • Understand needs, create design documents, and gather insights
  • Ensure adult learning principles and a systematic instructional design process is applied
  • Create learning content that best fits the needs of the learner
  • Develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning
  • Advise on technological learning solutions and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of learning programs
  • Support the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance
  • Use instructional design methodology to design and develop blended learning solutions
  • Create modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of training solutions
  • Work with reporting team to evaluate and measure instructional solutions to gauge effectiveness
Requirements of the Senior Instructional Designer:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in training delivery and/or instructional design experience
  • At least 3 years of experience successfully managing multiple priorities and projects through successful delivery and implementation
